It all started with an e-mail I got in January 2004, from a nice lady named Mary Gibbons.
Mary, to my total surprise , was thanking me for curing her TMJ!

Mary's story began 5 years ago when she first began experiencing the symptoms of this horrible condition.
She was in terrible pain all the time. At best it was just a small surge of pain. But when it really attacked her, it was like her head was spinning inside a washing machine.
She told me, even worse than her pain was the shame of her dysfunction.
She couldn't eat regular food. When she went out to restaurants with friends and family members, all she could have was a little bit of soup or, at best, some pasta.
People looked at her funny when she couldn't talk clearly because her jaw was locked, or, when she didn't hear what they said because of the ringing sound in her ears.
Her Doctors Had NO Solution!
They only advised her to eat pain killers day out and in, something she hated, due to the horrible side effects they gave her.
She went to a dentist who wanted to do an operation on her (and rip her off to the tune of $6588). But after she interrogated him, he sheepishly admitted that there is NO GUARANTEE that the dental operation can help at all with TMJ.
Dental implants may even make your TMJ worse!
She searched all over the Internet and read everything there was about this condition and the only conclusion she got was that there is no scientifically proven method that can cure TMJ.
That Was When She Came To Me!
She actually didn't seek my help to cure TMJ. She was seeking help for other condition that had been progressively growing worse ever since her TMJ began…snoring.

To do the exercise right make sure your molars on both sides move apart a little, and then touch lightly again. Also notice that your lips are supposed to be closed the whole time.
This exercise is pretty easy on your jaw because you are not actually chewing anything, but you might still feel a little bit sore in the beginning. Just take it easy-maybe chew for only a few seconds in the beginning and then increase the time you exercise.
You can make an "mmm" sound as you chew. This will open the throat better. Making an "mmm" sound is not necessary, it will just give the exercise extra boost.
